The funniest, most-touching and/or most creative entry wins a two-hour pre-wedding photography session at a location of your choice, 60 touched-up, high-res softcopy exposures and a DVD slideshow presentation!

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Couples must be engaged, not married!

2. Date of wedding is in the year 2009.

3. Pre-wedding shoot to take place in the month of May, 2009.

4. Location of shoot limited to the Klang Valley.

When I heard that I was to shoot an event on a Sunday at 3pm at The Gardens – Midvalley, the first thing that went through my mind was “will I be able to get a parking spot in time for the event?”. Yes, parking is still that bad.

Nevertheless, I’m glad that I covered this private-invites only event at Cova. It was for a new launch of Selberan Jewellery and boy were they sparkling…quite literally. As I was told that Selberan Jewellery is actually for the upper scale society and I understood why. The diamonds were huge and Selberan did not hold back in using numerous diamonds to fashion their assortments of rings, necklaces and earings. Simply beautiful. Here are some of pictures from the event.

Today is a special day for 2 reasons!

1) I had completed my LAST exam today! Did I mention LAST? Yes! No more exams for me – EVER!!! I’m done! Done with my MBA! Well, not technically, coz I have 6 months to do my dissertation, but hey! those aren’t exams! Never again will I have to feel that daunting stress before exam time! I feel light-hearted and cheerful and simply HAPPY!!!

2) Steve & Aips have finally left for UK! FINALLY! In case you didn’t know, they were supposed to leave last year July but their house got broken into 3 days before their departure and they had lost their passports and laptop, among other things… so… anyway, they have procrastinated their trip to the UK till now… ! On this happy note, I’d like to share a hilarious story!

I was working from home all of last week and I was in shock when I opened the door to find Fazil, our intern, carry his 24″ iMac! He’s been working off his laptop but that day, his gf needed it so, this dedicated soul lugged his entire computer over! It took me almost an hour to get used to the fact that this big a** computer was sitting on my dinning table! Here’s what it looked like!

The first wedding of 2009 for FIFOTO. What a start to the New Year, lucky for Michelle & Benjeev that the wedding was on the 2nd of January and not on the 1st, coz no guarantee that the photographers will be really sober after all the festivities…..kidding…kidding.

Jason & I shot a nice & very intimate Punjabi dinner at a clubhouse in downtown KL. It was a buffet dinner with alcohol, but the best thing was that by the end of the dinner, everyone was on the dance floor and were ‘shaking their thang….’
