2009 January | FIFOTO Blog - Part 2

I’ve been getting a few enquiries on pre-wedding shoots in Penang but due to the additional outstation charges, we usually end up shooting in KL.

So…. here’s a special package for Penang on Mar 1 (Sun) and Mar 2 (Mon). There are 4 slots available! Please email me at fiona@fifoto.com if you’re interested!

Please forward this to any of your friends who may be interested!!!

Jason & I shot Cindy & Ivan’s wedding at JW Marriot’s Grand (when I say, Grand, I mean GRAND!) Ballroom. The couple decorated the place really nicely, with pretty white birdcages and really nice white roses…. if I am not mistaken, they must be from The Wishing Tree, whatever it is, it was really beautiful!!

And Cindy, she takes the record of being a FIFOTO bride with the most shoes and wedding dresses!! 4 pairs of shoes (she really loves her shoes!!) to go with her really beautiful dresses!! My favorite must have been the red dress…. absolutely stunning!! It also matched Ivan’s face that night, which was very red by the end of the evening….!! But still, he could still ‘perform’, he managed to carry Cindy back to the room…..err…..no la, just carry her for me to get a shot of him carrying her.

All in all, it was a really beautiful wedding, with the many dress changes and all……. here are some of our favorite shots of the night.

Congratulations once again to the both of you. And hope you guys are having fun in Taiwan now!

After being around a ton of sick people before the holidays, I finally succumbed to the flu bugon the last day of my trip and was pretty upset I didn’t get to eat my favorite Sister’s Char Koay Teow before I left. =( It is difficult getting back to work – being sick and having to study simultaneously but I’m sure I’ll be back on track within a few days! (Tomorrow, I think!)

It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony at Seri Negara, just about the right about of clouds to shield us from the scorching sun! Of course, we were not surprised about the weather – it was expected, as with all our FIFOTO outdoor shoots! =) (We are always thankful and grateful for the kind weather!)

Joy & Anderson’s ROM really felt like a wedding – she had a beautiful yellow beaded dress that matched very well with Anderson’s white satin suit, there were 4 little flower girls all dressed in white little dresses, the couple walked down the aisle, cut cake and poured champagne! (and just in case you’re wondering what ROM stands for, it’s Registration of Marriage).

I am sooooooo looking forward to photographing their wedding later this year!!!

Congrats to Joy & Anderson on your registration!

Joy and her lovely sisters…

Don’t you just love the hotel setting?

I am definitely adding Carcosa Seri Negara to my list of favorite places to shoot!
