Weddings…how I have miss such loving and joyous atmospheres. To be honest, it has been a while for me (due to work commitments) I was actually feeling a bit anxious before the event but after a few clicks (and alot of reassurance from Steve), I was back in the groove. It’s occasions such as these that reminds me of the joys and happiness of what I do and will always continue to do.

Chris and Yee Leng are a very intimate couple. So much so, they got married in one of the cook islands where it was just them, the officiator and a photographer…talk about a truly intimate wedding! The wedding dinner was no exception. Held at Passion Road, a small intimate location in the heart of KL town where very close friends and families came in from all over the globe to celebrate such a special occasion.

From what I hear, both their parents are very happy and somewhat relieved that both of them have finally tied the know as they have waited very long for this to happen. Congratulations to the lovely couple!

Baby Mark

Nothing and noone’s perfect. You gotta learn and accept that. We are human. Humans make mistakes. It’s how you learn from them, live an let live. Somethings are harder to let go, or overcome though. But if you take yourself out of the equation, take a step back and look at things from a different perspective, sometimes things aren’t as bad a they may seem. And yet, sometimes, even if you know all this, you find yourself stuck in a black hole. And the longer you’re stuck in here, the deeper you get into it and feel like you’re never gonna escape it. So how do you take yourself outta it? You start thinking positive, look on the bright side and give it, and yourself another chance.

I’ve always wanted to photograph a newborn and when Calvin and Eileen said they would be bringing baby Mark to the studio for a shoot, I was stoked! At 1 month, baby Mark is the cutest littlest thing ever! He is tiny and I’m definitely not used to fragile little beings. But I certainly enjoyed admiring him from behind the camera! At 1 month, babies are so easy to pose! They just lie there, or sleep all the time and let you have your way with them, as you will see in the following photos! And not to mention, Eileen’s looking gorgeous and radiant as ever!

On a special note, I’d like to wish my dear old friend Calvin, (he’s not old, we have just known each other for a long time. OOPS, does that make me sound old?) the best of luck as he embarks on his new adventure in Manila. We’re gonna miss all three of you!

I turned 29 last Sunday and it feels a little weird, this being my last year of my twenties. Age is just a number but I’m gonna make everyday of this year count. I’m gonna make it great! I am truly touched by everyone who came to celebrate my birthday countdown with me, especially my friends Cat, Juliet, Adrian, Nancy and Lawrence who came from S’pore just for the weekend, and my guest of honor, James Pai who flew all the way in from the US just to celebrate the night with me! (He flew off the next day to S’pore for work). Not forgetting my dear friends Bruce & Hsuan who sorted out the party guest list, Sean & Yang who drove from Penang, and of course, needless to say, Ming who organized and coordinated my birthday dinner, cake, party favors and the lovely surprise flowers!!!

To everyone who came: THANK YOU for making the night so special! LOVE y’all!!!!

In conjunction with celebrating my new age, the new face of fifoto.com was launched last weekend! After almost a year of working on our new site, we finally went live! I’m excited to present some screens shots of our new website but do check it out for yourself, explore our virtual galleries and tell us what you think of our new look!

I can now say with a 100% affirmaiton that I’m back to work mode running on full speed! Since my return from Egypt, I’ve been slogging all week, catching up on emails and enquiries, planning for a commercial shoot (this Friday!), meeting new clients (and more importantly sealing deals!) and rushing for deadlines! Productivity would be the theme for the week and albeit the high stress levels trying to coordinate everything, I’m glad I’ve made it halfway through the week!

This week, we also welcome our new DI assistant, Hsien Ming to FIFOTO!

Other exciting news….! Our new FIFOTO website will be up within the next few days and after having worked on it for the past 6 months (I think it may be longer than that!), we can finally go LIVE! So look out for our new site!!!

Here’s a family portrait shoot I did for Duke and his lovely family in Taipei when I was there over New Year! Tyler is the cutest thing ever, and always happy with a smile! I especially adore his little bear outfit and it makes me wanna SQUEEEEEEEEEEEZE him!!! Needless to say, Angie looks stunning in the photos just as she does in real life! I had a good time photographing the cute threesome and totally enjoyed the cool weather! It’s nice to be able to shoot outdoors and keep dry once in awhile! Can’t say the same for hot & humid Malaysian weather!

This is my favorite shot of the day!!! Tyler is pondering why he was born a little teddy bear…

…he doesn’t look too happy being an upside down baby bear! But at least the grown ups had fun!
