Chamath & Felicia – Pre Wedding |
20.04.2009 |
There’s something different about the light in the US… The light there seems warmer, crispier and somehow, I feel like the photos turn out better! Oh how I wish I could spend more time in the US… working…!
Steve, Aips and I arrived a couple days earlier to shoot Chamath & Felicia’s pre-wedding photos. Felicia had a list of places she wanted to go to – Ferry Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard… We managed to stop by a few more places along the way as I got excited about how green the grass was and how blue the skies were! We pretty much stopped at every mile to take photos!
Felicia reminds me of the Asian version of Sarah Jessica Parker! It was so much fun photographing them! I especially loved her cute Betsy Johnson dress that was just purrrrfect for the shoot!! Poor girl was freezing in the later part of the shoot though!
They are off to Trinidad (where Chamath’s from) for a wedding party there and I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun!
Have a great trip you guys! Wedding photos to come soon!

Two trams stopped right in front of us at the top of Lombard St and we managed to get this shot while all the passengers stared at them kissing!

Lombard…

Aren’t they so cute together?

We ended up in the Fisherman’s wharf at sunset…

Very cool. I have to say that I really wasn’t looking forward to having to pose for a few hours, but you guys made us feel so comfortable that is was actually a lot of fun.

Stunning photos! My husband and I were just lamenting the same thing. The quality of light is so different here in Asia, isn’t it? It has its perks as I don’t think anything will beat the sunsets here, but overall photos taken on that side of the world just seem better. Or this could just be a case of the grass is greener on the other side.

Your client looks so much like a HK actress. She’s gorgeous! Congrates to the couple too. =)
