The Nameless Art Project |

These photos were taken more than a month ago…
Emilia and I have been wanting to start a mini project like this but of course, with work and school, it took me a year before I finally got my act together and planned for the shoot. I immediately thought of my friend, Jeff’s house when it came to finding a location. It was just perfect for the photo shoot! As for finding a model, it was easy! I had shot Jocelyn & Jinh’s wedding earlier this year and she had the perfect bone structure, height and body! Best of all, this girl’s quirky sense of humor (I say this with fond memories of her cracking dirty jokes) makes it such a breeze to work with!
Special thanks to Joycelyn for strutting her stuff, Jeff for the use of his beautiful home, Emilia for the artistic makeup and hairstyling, Steve and Kit for assisting in the photo shoot!
I seriously need a name for this project… any suggestions? Pls send me your ideas!
Am also open to concept ideas for our next shoot (which will be next year)… would like to hear from you!

At the risk of sounding unoriginal, “The Nameless Art Project” actually sounds pretty good to me. Or “A Date With Jocelyn Mah”?

We can call it “Mimesis” – The imitation or representation of aspects of the sensible world, especially human actions, in literature and art.
Im still thinking of more options, brain not working today

It all looks very “Glitz & Glam” to me… Not too sure where you guys are going with this project or what you’re trying to achieve (besides kickass pictures of course)… Other things that popped into my head are:
1. Glitz and Glam or Goth and Glam
2. Lights, Camera…
3. Neon Angels
4. Candy Fairies
5. Urban chic
6. Fine Art Living
7. Art Space
8. Mannequin at home
A bit cheesier would be: Les Femmes des Fi et Em… get it….!!?? But then again that’s been used for one of Fi’s shows already… Kidding aside, if this were an art piece on Women in their homes, you could call it Chez Elles. It means her home en francais…
Can anyone shed some light on what you guys were aiming at?
