One of the largest dining chains from Japan has arrived in KL. Casual dining that is. And right from the get go we can see that all the people invited for the opening were already letting loose with hugs and kisses. The speeches were short and sweet and very to the point with mutual respect going out from both Malaysian and Japanese Parties. Once that was done we were treated to a Taiko drum exhibition mixed in with some traditional flute music. once that was done, There was a traditional breaking in of the Sake barrel by the both parties as well as the Japanese ambassador. With that first cup of sake served to everyone (of proper age of course!) it was time for the food to be served!

Fortunately I’d been invited to a food tasting session at the restaurant prior to this by a close personal friend of mine so I can personally vouch for the taste! The taiko drums came on for a second time near the end and by this time the everyone had had their fill and were chatting away. Casual dining indeed…
